OUR HIStory
ETERNITY CENTRE IS A MULTI GENERATIONAL CHURCH AND EACH WEEK THREE GENERATIONS CAN BE SEEN SEATED TOGETHER IN THE WORSHIP CENTRE. A VIBRANT CHILDREN'S PROGRAM IS CONDUCTED EACH WEEK IN A SEPARATE BUILDING ON THE CHURCH PROPERTY.
Eternity Centre had its first gathering in early 1990 when a small group worshipped together in the Kerang Band Hall. An advertisement was THEN placed into the local newspaper and as they say, the rest is history. The church was initially led by Pastor Barry & Rhoda Watkins.
As the church grew, now under the leadership of Pastor Amos and Mary Tissaaratchi it moved to the Kerang RSL rooms. The former State Rivers and Water Supply Office on the corner of Wellington Street and Boundary Road came up for sale and the church was able to purchase it through the sacrificial giving of the now growing congregation. The refurbished building was officially dedicated in early 1999 by Pastor Ian Fenn and still serves the church well today.
Pastor Allan Jakobi took over the leadership of the church in 1999 and served as the senior pastor until September 2015. Pastors Russell & Linda Drowley have leaD the church Until the 26th of april 2020.
